Florence Fleck

FLECK Florence M. Florence M. Fleck, age 88 of Swanton, formerly of Temperance and Dundee, MI passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in her sister's home. She was born March 2, 1919, in Sylvania, OH, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Bailey) Knapp. She married Melvin R. Fleck April 12, 1941, in Napoleon, OH. She was a licensed beautician for several years in Sylvania, then was co-owner with her husband of the former Case & Fleck Surveying Company operating in Temperance and Dundee, MI for more than forty years. Florence was well known in the community and enjoyed sewing and traveling. She had a wonderful sense of humor and truly loved her family. She is survived by son, Michael (Thea) Fleck of McCordsville, IN; daughter, Shannen (Patrick) McMahon of Temperance, MI; daughter-in-law, Ann Fleck of Toledo; and sister, Patsy Fuller of Swanton; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Melvin Craig; two brothers; a sister and a great grandson, Kyle. Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Farnham Funeral Home 1125 W. Temperance Rd. Temperance, MI. Private services and burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Mary Schondel officiating.
