Forrest "Blackie" Black, Jr.

Forrest "Blackie" Black, Jr., 92, passed away on September 15, 2022, at Ebeid Hospice. He was born on December 17, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Forrest Sr. and Marie Black.

Blackie proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Toledo Letter Carrier for 32 years. When he wasn't working and spending time with family, he enjoyed bowling. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 69 years, Mary (Lober) Black; son, Forrest Black III; daughters, Diane, Cheryl, and Ann; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or Ebeid Hospice.

Private family services were held.
