Francis Parker Obituary
Francis G. Parker, age 71, of Toledo, passed away on September 7, 2018. He was born on February 14, 1947 to Harley and Elaine (Skibinski) Parker in Toledo. Francis was a graduate of St. Anthony Grade School, St. Francis High School and the University of Toledo, where he earned his Associate's degree in Engineering. He worked as an engineer with many companies over the years in the Toledo area. Francis enjoyed working on cars, boating, fishing, and traveling, especially to Disney World.
Francis was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Charles Parker; and brother-in-law, Jerry Nichpor. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia (Nichpor) Parker; his mother, Elaine Parker; aunt, Sylvia Parker; cousins, Larry (Lisa) Parker, Chris (Johna) Parker and Kathy (Randy) Axe; nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Amanda (Gary), Brendon, Tim and Riley; brother-in-law, Mike (JoAnn) Nichpor; sisters-in-law, Jan (Terry) Moore and Carol Nichpor.
In keeping with Francis' wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 11:00 a.m. Memorial tributes may be directed to St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church.
