Frank Ebright Obituary
Frank L. Ebright, 87, longtime resident of Plymouth Street, Toledo, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 28, 2017, surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 4, 1930 to Frank and Erma (Metzger) Ebright. On September 3, 1948 he married Nancy Fellhauer. Frank worked for Coca-Cola Bottling of Toledo and retired as office manager after 30 years. He was a lifelong member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church where he served on church council, treasurer, and member of the choir and dartball team. Following retirement, Frank enjoyed traveling; especially to Alaska, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Frank will be remembered for his generosity and the love he shared toward others. His true passion was spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by his children, Robert (Ann) Ebright Sr., Kenneth (Mary) Ebright and Katrina Ebright; grandchildren, Sarah (Steve) Strahm, Robert (Kirsten) Ebright Jr., Rebecca (Travis) Barker, Sherri (Melissa) Ebright, T.J. Ebright, Leah Ebright, and Ashley (Tony) Mahoney; great-grandchildren, Harley, Patrick, Taylor, Zachary, Adilynn, and Mya; siblings, Katherine Everhardt, Duane Ebright, Elaine (Richard) Damschroder, Norma (James) Corbin, Carol Starkloff and Karl (Karen) Ebright; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; sons, Patrick and Timothy; and siblings, Henrietta Jerndt, Galen Ebright, and Lloyd Ebright.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 601 Nevada Street, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Martin Luther Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

I am deeply saddened to know of the passing of Frank Ebright.
Your dad had a lasting effect on me. He hired me oh so long ago, 1967, to work in the office in the back room handling what is now an ancient paper tape input computer. He took a chance on what was then a 21 year old, freshly married with baby on the way, kid.
He gave me that start and I never forgot. I so much enjoyed working for him at the Toledo, Ohio Coke bottling plant.

I really miss you Dad, You're my best friend, I feel lost without you. You were the one person that was always there for me. I wish we could of had more time together, I'm sure your in a better place.

I remember what a good, caring person Frank was during my time as pastor of Martin Luther. My prayers and sympathy are with the whole family during their loss.
