Frank J. Meier

Frank J. Meier, age 83, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born on December 16, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank and Bernadine (Kassen) Meier. Frank was a lifetime auto body repairman working at various places over the years. He retired from Vin Devers Mercedes Dodge. Frank was known to have a heart of gold and was very generous always willing to help anyone in need.

Frank attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Sylvania Moose Lodge #1579, Cooley Canal Yacht Club, and V.F.W. #9816. Frank was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, camping, boating and being outdoors. He will be dearly missed.

Frank is survived by his children, Larry (Carol) Meier, Mike (Kelly) Meier, Kathleen Meier-Henninger, Paulette (Scott) Henninger, and Frank (Amanda) Meier; grandchildren, Mindy (Chris), Mike, Ryan, Mikaella, Kiel, Devon, Victoria, Madison, Kate, and Alexis; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Claretta Meier, and Marietta (Ron) Artz; former spouse, Delia (Carl) Warrington; former daughter-in-law, Denise Meier; longtime friend, Joe Salazar; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Christine Meier; sisters, Rosemarie (Gene) Mazur, and Luise (Tony) Baldin.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., in Oregon, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m., where funeral services will take place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
