Frank Pinciotti Obituary

Frank Pinciotti

Frank Pinciotti, age 94, of Toledo, died March 25, 2021, at McLaren St. Luke's Hospital. Frank was born to Frank and Alma Pinciotti on March 1, 1927, in Toledo, Ohio. Frank graduated from Central Catholic High School (CCHS) in 1947. He starred in baseball, basketball and football, and was all-city in basketball in 1947. One of his shining moments was scoring two touchdowns to beat Waite High School for the first time in 1944. Frank was elected to the CCHS Hall of Fame in 1970. In addition, he proudly served in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in Germany. He then went on to work at Libbey Glass.

Frank was an artist and loved to paint. Many of his paintings can be seen around town as well as in the homes of his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Pinciotti; his son, Nick (Suzan) Pinciotti; two grandchildren; his sister, Carmela (Verl) Frazier; and his brother, Gabriel (Lucy) Pinciotti. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Frank Pinciotti; sister, Theresa (Harold) Calmes; and brothers, Don and Tony (Angie) Pinciotti. Many thanks to his special friend and helper, Rita Peters, and her family.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at The Historic Church of Saint Patrick on Wednesday, April 14, at 10 a.m. The Historic Church of Saint Patrick is located at 130 Avondale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, in Downtown Toledo.
