TELLO Frank A. Frank A. Tello, 79, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family Friday, May 6, 2011 in the Edward & Marion Knight Hospice Center, Perrysburg, Ohio. Frank had battled leukemia for a short time. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 5, 1931 to Ruben and Tomasa (Herrera) Tello. He married Barbara K. (Anistik) in Toledo on May 11, 1957 and she survives. Frank attended Waite and Macomber High Schools, graduating in 1950. Frank was a proud veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the US Navy from 1950-54. He had worked for 31 years at the former AP Parts Company of Toledo retiring in 1994. He was also a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa. Frank was a member of the Rossford Eagles, Port Clinton Moose Lodge, the Northwood VFW, and the Genoa American Legion Post. For the past 39 years he and Barb enjoyed spending the summers at their trailer at Chet's Place in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara; sons, Frank (Elaine) Tello and Dirk Tello; daughters, Shelley (Rick) Miner, Ann Tello, and Shannon Tilton; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren and sister, Theresa (Ray) Castro. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Lori Boileau and Ramona Kruger; granddaughter, Rachelle Walby, and 5 sisters. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May, 10, 2011 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa. Interment, with military honors, will be in the Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, OH. Visitation will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, from 2:30 - 8 PM, Monday, May 9, 2011. A scripture service will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:30 PM, Monday evening. Memorial contributions in Frank's memory may be directed to the church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
