Frederick H.
Frederick H. Businger, 88, of McClure passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Bowling Green Manor in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born on June 11, 1924, in Weston Ohio to the late Jacob and Florence (Holzhauer) Businger. On April 5, 1947, he married Evelyn M. (Kramer) Businger in McClure, Ohio. She preceded him in death on December 10, 2008.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Marsha (Jarvis) Gamble of Toledo, Sandra (Thomas) Zoltanski of McClure and Susan Businger of Bowling Green; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and a half sister, Joyce Stearns of Bowling Green. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; brothers, Paul and Carl Businger, and sister, Grace Erven.
Fred served his country proudly in WWII as a Tech Sergeant in the Communications Squadron of the US Army Air Force, serving in the China-Burma-India theatre. Visitation and funeral will be held privately. The family expresses special thanks to the devoted staff at Bowling Green Manor. Memorials may be made to the Damascus Twp. Fire and Rescue, PO Box 1 McClure, Ohio 43534, the Bowling Green Manor Activity Fund, 1021 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
