Gary R.
Gary R. Hahn, 67, of the Point/Shoreland Community, peacefully entered into Heaven on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Center with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 7, 1947, in Toledo, OH to Roselyn (Welter) and Kenneth R. Hahn. Gary worked for 35 years as an elevator technician for Otis Elevator, retiring in 2005. His memberships included Ottawa River Yacht Club, Outings Unlimited and Commodores Club. He enjoyed boating and golfing.
Surviving him is his loving wife of 48 years, Linda (Alloway); daughters, Wendy (Mike) Satkowiak and Tracy (Brian) Provo; brothers, David and Ken Jr. Hahn, and grandchildren, Caitlin, Payton and Luca. Preceding him in death were his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, from 2-7 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral Service will begin that same evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Father Anthony Borgia officiating. Interment is private. Those wishing to make a contribution in Gary's memory may send donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Words of encouragement, fond memories, or photos may be placed for the family to receive at:

So sorry to hear about Gary's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. We have been away from Toledo for so long, but both have many memories of Gary as we were growing up. Linda and family, sorry to hear about Gary. I would see him fixing our elevators at the old Secor hotel/office bldg. He was the best round baler SFS ever had

To the Hahn's, deepest condolences on Gary's passing. He truly enjoyed life to the fullest and was fun to be around. I am grateful for all the Hahn brothers being a part of my life....I always looked up to them (and not just because they were taller:-)). My sincere sympathy to the Hahn family. I remember what a hero Gary was to me when I was in grade school-two grades behind him. He was by far the best athlete-both baseball and basketball at St. Thomas Aquinas. I recall how he pitched us to win the city championship game. I truly am saddened to hear of Gary's passing. May he rest in peace.
