Dear Marlow Family,
Our deepest sympathies to each of you. I will always remember Gene smiling and giving his brother-in-law, Jim Meier, all kinds of trouble. I find comfort that they are reunited again, smiling and laughing...heaven will not longer be the same.
We send our love,
Elizabeth (Herness), Greg and little Kaylie Peters

Shirley, Craig and Kim,
Somewhere in Heaven there is a card game going on and when it's cocktail hour, the martinis will flow. The Sommer/Beam family share so many loving and wonderful memories that have made our families forever close. Gene was a special friend to his railroad buddies and to quote Tina Turner, "You're Simply The Best." Gene's sense of humor, wit and zest for life will be living with us forever through Craig and Kim.

Although I havent seen uncle Gene in years, I have fond memories of him. I will always remember sitting on his lap and him making me laugh and always looking forward to him being "up to the lake" when we would go to Grandma and Grandpa Marlows cottage. I always loved Uncle Gene and Will always cherish those childhood memories. May God comfort your family in your loss of a kind and gentle person. Jennifer (Burdick)Ulrich.

Oh my gosh, I was saddened to see Marlow's passing! My heart goes out to all of his family! "Marlow', as we always called him, was a wonderful man with the greatest laugh and sense of humor!! He was like a family member to the Jarzeboski family. We adored him and his loving, funny wife, Shirley!!!! I hadn't seen him since we visited them in Florida. Gosh, another special person from the greatest generation is gone.
