MYRICE

George A. Sr.

George A. Myrice Sr., 61, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was born on December 12, 1951, in Oregon, Ohio to Everett and Helen Myrice. George served in the U.S. Army as a sharp shooter and was a member of the Teamsters. In his earlier years, he worked on the Lake Freighters and the past 36 years was a truck driver owner/operator.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina; son, George Jr.; 3 grandchildren, and left behind many brothers and sisters.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Saturday, June 29, 2013, from 2-5 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family.

My condolences to the Myrice family. I was good friends with George Jr and knew Christina pretty well also so I got to know George over the years and was sad to hear of his passing. My prayers are with George, Christina and my cousin Kylie for losing her Grandpa.
