Georgeanne Lickert Obituary
Georgeanne Lickert, age 84, of Jerusalem Township passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Georgeanne was born to George and Emma (Bascom) Grant in Oregon, Ohio on October 11, 1937. She and her husband, Paul, were world travelers exploring Alaska, Hawaii, and even the Middle East. After retirement, she and Paul ran a craft business selling their wears at many shows across the country. Georgeanne was a member of Lewis Avenue Baptist Church.
Georgeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2015; grandson, AJ Simons; and sister, Virginia Herman. She is survived by her son, David (Yvette) Lickert and their children Heather, David (Jásmin), Crystal, Mark (Brittney); son, Timothy (Tammy); daughter, Wendy (Larry) Simons their surviving son, Roy (Michelle) Simons; and great-grandchildren, Jared, Garrett, Shallyn, Gabe, Grace, Hailey, Ellie, Jensen, and Jake.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will follow at Allen Township Cemetery in Williston. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
