Gladys Weber Obituary

WEBER Gladys (DeHart) Gladys (DeHart) Weber, 90, died peacefully and with dignity, as she had lived, on Wednesday, January 23, 2008, surrounded by her family, in Hospice of Perrysburg. She had been a resident of Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born to Albert and Matilda (Ramke) DeHart on October 20, 1917, in Bancker, Louisiana on the Vermillion Bayou. In addition to being beloved by her own children and grand-children, she was "grandma" to all the kids in the south Toledo neighborhood where she lived most of her life. Gladys was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 9 siblings, Dora, Annie, Virgie, Geneva, Sheldon, Wallie, Margaret, and Leroy. Surviving are her daughters, Marie (Frank) Matuszak, Toledo, and Linda (John) Gleason, South Lyon, MI; son, Art Weber, Whitehouse; sisters-in-law, Mazie DeHart, Irene DeHart, Ruth E. Weber and Pat Weber; grand-children, Angie and Shelly Gleason, Adam and Lydia Matuszak, Julie (Elliot) West, Andy and Brian Weber; many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Marion, Betty and Bob Adams, and Mabel. Dear Arthur, Marie, and Linda,
I am so sorry about your mother. I just found out from my brother, John. I have many fond memories of your family and your mother in particular. I know the pain your are going through. I loved her, too. It is had to loose your parents. Please know that I am holding you all close to my heart in prayer. I am so sorry that I couldn't be there for you.
