Hagger Burkhalter Obituary

BURKHALTER Mrs. Hagger Lee "Easter" Mrs. Hagger Lee Burkhalter, 79, affectionately known as "Easter", of Toledo, OH, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo facility. A native of Brickeys, AR, she attended Jesup W. Scott High School and was a food preparer 15 years for the former Frank Uncles restaurant. She was the widow of Mr. Cleon Burkhalter, Sr. and is lovingly survived by her sons, Augusta Turner of Cleveland, OH, and Cleon Jr., Desmond, and George Burkhalter; daughters, Vernice and Yvonne Burkhalter and Valerie Young of Los Angeles, CA; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Funeral Services 7 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 with Wake Services preceding at 6 p.m. in the C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue (419-255-7682).
