CAVERLY

Hazel Mae

Hazel Mae Caverly, age 91, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Born January 16, 1922, in Pickford, MI to John and Lottie Little, she worked for Cosco Graphics for more than 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was active at the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center where she received local, state and national recognition for her volunteer work with fellow seniors. She was also actively involved in 2-5 year old Sunday School at First Methodist Church in Sylvania and then Collingwood Methodist Church.

The widow of Robert Charles Caverly, she is survived by daughter, Constance L. (Joe) Haberkamp; sons, Dr. David C. Caverly and Robert A. (Judy) Caverly; grandchildren, Kevin (Sue), Keith, and Kent Haberkamp, Cori (JR) Atkins and Michael Caverly, Andrea Caverly and Cynthia Kitz, and great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Caverly, Lucas and Emily Haberkamp, Owen and Kelly Kitz and Claire and Jack Atkins.

Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Friday from 1:00-4:00 and 5:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Presbyterian Church 4225 W. Sylvania Ave. Toledo. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest OH, 30000 River Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551 or the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center 1315 Hillcrest Ave., Toledo, OH 43612.
