Herbert Wohlfarth Obituary

WOHLFARTH Herbert Herbert Wohlfarth, age 74, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006. Herbert retired from Champion Spark Plug with over 30 years of service. He was a strongly independent hard-working farmer; work was his life. Herbert was the son of proud honest German immigrant farmers that worked the family farm on Garden Road, Maumee, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Gottlieb Wohlfarth. He is survived by his older brother, Karl (Marjorie) Wohlfarth; nephews, Paul, Tim, Ted and Mark Wohlfarth. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, November 18, 2006, 11 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 708 S. Erie Street, Toledo. The Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, assisted with arrangements. [email protected]

I DID NOT KNOW THE DECEASED BUT I KNEW HIS BROTHERS FAMILY. I WENT TO WHITMER H.S. WITH TED AND ALWAYS CONSIDERED HIM A GOOD FRIEND. TED'S DAD WAS MY BOY SCOUT LEADER AND I THANK HIM NOW FOR HIS TIME ON MAKING ME THE MAN I AM TODAY. I LIVE IN VENTURA ,CA. NOW AND PASS ON MY CONDOLENCES TO THE WOHLFARTH FAMILY.
