No one could have a better, caring Mom like Icola. As soft spoken as she was, her words spoke volumes to those who listened.

She never force herself upon you, but was always willing to lend advice or counsel, which stemmed from her years of living. She certainly taught me to care for myself and everyone who would allow me the privilege to care.

When it came to demonstrating the love she had for us, it was shown in her culinary fare. It didn't matter what she cooked. She stayed with it until it had that appealing quality of taste, that all who tasted thereof would find delicious. There was no better way for her to exhibit that love. Even when she was ailing, not feeling well, she somehow made it to her kitchen to prepare your favorite meal. And to top it off, her custard (in the ice cream maker) would make your toes wiggle.

Certainly, I could go on and on about Mom, for she went through many hard times dealing with her health, but God kept her here to see ninety-three years.

What a blessing to have had her as my Mom.

I'll never forget the final smile and wave she gave me just before her passing. I knew then that her love would never fade.

To God I give the glory for the gift that wrapped in my mother, Icola Brown (Moore).

Love always,

Albert
