Ilene TERRELL Obituary

TERRELL Ilene L. Ilene Lenore Terrell, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio and formerly of Holland, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Ebeid Hospice. She was born September 3, 1922 in Toledo to Charles and Florence (Flenniken) Jensen and on August 30, 1940, she married Ivan Ray Terrell who preceded her in death on September 30, 1996. Ilene was employed over 30 years as a Meat Wrapper for A & P, Kazmaier's, Foodtown and Village Market groceries before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Ilene enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, reading her Bible and spending lots of time with her all her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Alice (James) Murphy and Jo Ann (Gerald) Fredrick; grandchildren, Julie (Jim) Jeffries, Lorie Roskydoll, Jennifer Fredrick, Shawn (Patrick Tarpy) Murphy and Patrick (Arlene) Murphy; 11 great grand children; 9 great great-grandchildren as well as her sister-in-law, Dorothy Jensen. Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Florence; husband, Ivan; sisters, Dora Drinkwater and Donna Fritch as well as her brothers, John, Charles and James Jensen. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011, at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Jamie Gill, officiating. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to do so in Ilene's name to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 7715 W. Dear Jo Ann, Alice and family: We were sorry to hear of Ilene's passing but we know it is best for her. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
