Irene
Irene Osstifin, age 74, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was born to Stanley and Sophia Szczepanski. She graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 1958, where she met her husband, John. She retired in 2008 as CEO and owner of T.A.S.K. Inc.
Irene was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 50 years and was active right up to her death. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved her husband, children and grandchildren very much. She will be greatly missed.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, John Osstifin Jr. and son, John Osstifin III; her parents and sisters, Gertrude, Frances and brother, Harry.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (David) Waters, Diane Osstifin and Brenda Buehler; son, Timothy (Erin) Osstifin; daughter-in-law, Connie Osstifin; grandchildren, Andrea, Stephanie and Camryn; sisters, Stella (Dale) Woods and Josephine (Gordon) Emahiser.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 740 N. McCord Road, Toledo, Ohio, Saturday, October 11, 2014. The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice or Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Irene was married to my cousin John and I remember her as a kind and gentle soul. She loved her family very much and may her soul rest in peace.

To Patty, Diane, Brenda, Tim,Connie and families: What a wonderful spiritual legacy left for you by two parents who kept their "eye on the prize" - focused on Jehovah and His promise of everlasting life for those who love Him. Keep up that focus for we'll be there very shortly now.

My deepest condolences to Irene's family. Irene was a special person and I always enjoyed the brief times we met and talked. I liked her and respected her and we have lost a true family Matriarch. My sincerest sympathies to the Osstifin Family.
