Jack C. Meier D.D.S, 89, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at his home. Jack was born July 11, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio to George and Helen (Newbury) Meier. In 1953, Jack graduated from Lake High School and continued his education at The Ohio State University, graduating with his D.D.S. in 1960. He served in the United States Navy from 1960-1962, stationed in Baimbridge, Maryland. Following his service in the Navy, Jack established a private dental practice in Perrysburg, Ohio, serving the community for 53 years. During his years in practice, Jack along with his sister, Mary, who managed the practice, developed countless lifelong friendships. Outside of work, Jack had numerous interests including nature photography, world travel, and fine dining. He maintained a private pilot license and flew family members and friends throughout the country. Always having a need for speed, Jack loved riding motorcycles and driving fast cars; especially the Ford Mustang.

Jack is survived by his children, Ashley (Benji) Daneman and Adam Meier; stepdaughters, Wendy (Jeff) King and Christy (Eric) Ferm; several grandchildren; beloved sister, Mary Campbell; former wife, Joanne Meier; goldendoodle, Jimmy; along with many loving family members, friends, and his angel, Amy Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, James Campbell; and former wife, Norma Jean Hazel.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in the form of contributions to Shriners Hospital for Children.
