In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God concerning you. God wants us to be thankful in every situtation we face in life. Not to be thankful for the pain and sorrow but in the pain and sorrow give him thanks. So I give him thanks in celebrating the life of my cousin, Jackie. I pray for my cousins Tae and Jazmine and all who grieve at the lost of Jackie. But know that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love you, Danelle, Donte, Tia, Nicole and Destiny. I'll miss her smile, and the way she always gave a helping hand in the kitchen at church. My prayers will be with you.

To the family: I met Jackie at The Whitney Building back in the 90's, she was so proud of her family, she also loved teaching, and she would go the extra mile, always a smile and always a laugh. I also worked at J.W.Scott with Jackie and over the years she never changed, she was even more proud of her family and her students. My prayers are with the family and friends. You have my deepest condolences. I miss her already.

Mrs. Aldridge:
Throughout the whole eighteen years of my sons school years, there's never been a teacher in his life that has been compassionate as your self, caring and nuturing came natural to you. I realize you were a special angel of God and he just loaned you to us for a short period of time. Your presence will be greatly missed. Thank you for the asstistance you have given me in educating both of my sons, especially JoJuan.

How do you say bye to a dear teacher and friend? I will always remember Mrs. Aldridge for the love and conversations we shared with each other. I will miss her for all she was and ever did for me. If nothing else Mrs. Aldridge prized her students. Especially the ones who furthered education and returned to encourage the future generations. Her last word would have been success, she was all about your living not being in vain. I will miss her and I look forward to seeing her again!

Jacque--
You were one in a million, dear. I believe everything happens for a reason. I'm struggling to figure out why you were taken from this world so soon, though I know there must be a reason God wanted you with him sooner than anyone would have thought. You made such an impression on me. I know you will be missed greatly by everyone you've touched-- from you family to the students you bragged about and your co-workers at Scott and beyond. You were a perpetual cheerleader for all noble causes. I was so lucky to be able to meet you and your daughters two summers ago, and so lucky to work with you this summer. God bless you and your family. I am keeping my eye on your Jazmine here at Byrnedale. I know you are proud of what a strong, young woman she is. I know she will follow in her big sister's footsteps-- you truly raised fabulous children! And to Jacque's family-- you will all be in my prayers.

I have known Jacqueline for 15 years. She was such a giving and loving person. I first met Jacque when she was doing the GIVE program. Then Jazmine started school at Glendale-Feilbach. Whether it was a school function, fundraiser, craft show or Girl Scouts, she always gave her all. We are all going to miss her so very much. My condolences to all who knew her and my love and prayers to the family.

To the family: Jackie was not only a colleague, but a friend. Her contagious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed at Scott High School. She seemed to always have a smile even through difficult times. I am praying that you will find strength and God will help you through.
