James Roberts Obituary
February 20, 1929 - December 10, 2024
To celebrate the life of James "Jim" Roberts, his recent widow, Nancie Entenmann, and Jim's children, Jim, Mary, Fred, Tom, Chris, and Doug from his marriage with Carol Roberts (D) will host two events in Toledo on April 12; please see below for details. Each event will be followed by a meal and fellowship.
Jim graduated from Western Reserve Academy '47, Ohio Wesleyan University '51, and earned his medical degree from Ohio State University '55. After serving as a Captain in the army while stationed in Paris, he moved to Toledo with his young family to practice pediatrics with Drs. Zucker and Howard. Later in his medical career he shifted to allergy care with Dr. Negrich until his retirement in 2010.
During these Toledo years he served as Chief of Staff at St. Vincent's Hospital, worked extensively at Toledo Hospital, and along with performing his normal duties he mentored many colleagues during his career. He will be remembered for his special caring and expertise by many patients and associates.
Jim's life was full of love and adventure as he imparted his special gifts to all he encountered as a husband, father, physician, athlete, and outdoorsman. He was a friend to all and is fondly missed.
