James Milton RUDE

RUDE James Milton James Milton Rude died Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio -Toledo at the age of 80. The son of Martha and Earl Rude, he was born in Toledo on May 19, 1931. He attended DeVilbiss High School and graduated from Macomber High School, after serving in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. Jim married Miriam Prueter on September 17, 1955. His memberships included Toledo Division of Model Railroads and Reformation Lutheran Church, where he had served on its council. He also was a very active Mason, serving as a Past Master of the Robinson Locke Lodge No. 659 F. & A.M., Past High Priest of Ft. Meigs Chapter, Past Illustrious Master-Grafton Acklin Council, and Past Commander of Lafayette Lyttle Commandery No. 77., and 33 degree Mason of the Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo. Jim worked for Toledo Terminal Railroad and finished his 35 years of service as a member of CSX. Surviving are his wife, Miriam; children, Robert (Sally), John (Jane) and Carol Rude; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary, 3815 Sylvania Ave. (between Monroe St. and Talmadge Rd.) Monday from 2-8 p.m. with Masonic services at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church, 4543 Douglas Rd. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family prefers memorial contributions to Reformation Lutheran Church or the Masonic Children's Learning Center.
