Janet Radebaugh Obituary

Janet Leigh Radebaugh

Janet Leigh Radebaugh, of Elmore, Ohio, formerly of Toledo, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was 62.

Born August 3, 1955 in Toledo to Harry Radebaugh and Patsy (Clark) Waldrop, Janet was a Mental Health Professional for Mercy St. Charles Hospital where she brought compassionate and respectful care to individuals who were affected by mental illness. She was a light of acceptance and kindness.

Janet was a child of the universe and believed in the expansiveness and continuity of time and love. She wandered not to be lost but to find out who she could be. With firm faith and direction led by kindness and wisdom, she affected the lives of those in her family as well as those who crossed her path professionally and incidentally. She was a truly beautiful person who spent her life trying to aid others in health, diet and clean living. She was a healer and a guide.

She is survived by her father, Harry (Sue) Radebaugh of Englewood, FL; mother, Patsy (Wally) Waldrop of Temperance, MI; brother, Don Radebaugh of Sylvania, OH; sister, Patti (Steve) Baldwin of San Diego, CA; sister, Linda Radebaugh of Dunedin, FL; sister-in-law, Christine Abbott of Sylvania, OH; nieces, Emily Radebaugh and Carly Radebaugh of Sylvania, OH; and nephews, Charles Baldwin, Eric Baldwin, David Baldwin and Robby Baldwin, all of San Diego, CA. She also was a light to Kim Hill, Melissa Dunne, Matthew Hill and their children, all of Toledo, OH. She made her home with Renee Gross of Elmore, OH, with Roger Gross and their dog, Minnie.

Janet's wishes were to be cremated with no public services. The family has asked Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Oak Harbor, Ohio to assist with their wishes. Contributions may be made to the Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary in Port Clinton, Ohio.
