Janice McGee Obituary

Janice Lee "Jan" McGee

Janice Lee "Jan" McGee, age 78, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born on January 5, 1940 to Victor A. and Josephine (Pyzik) Morris in Toledo.

She was a 1958 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. Jan lived a full life from going to the Indy 500 and visiting the Rose Bowl in 1958. She shared amazing stories with her family from all the amazing experiences she had. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and with her passing there is a void in the family that cannot be filled.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Earl Ross McGee; daughter, Katherine Lynn (McGee) Perz; son, Steven Ross McGee; granddaughters, Paige Elizabeth Perz, Olivia Katherine Perz and Caroline Elise Perz; sister, Carol (Ron) Turner;

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Beverly, Capt. Allen R. Morris USMC, Roger Morris USMC and Linda Morris.

At this time, all services for Jan are private. Newcomer Funeral Home is assisting the family with professional services.

She'll be incredibly missed by her son Steven, who loved her immensely.

My sincerest sympathies to the family. I have some really great memories of Jan and Earl hanging with my parents, Jim and Nan Daniels. Jan was so sweet and a good friend to my mom.
