Jeffrey Fyock Obituary

Jeffrey W. Fyock 06/17/2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our son and brother Jeffrey W. Fyock, age 57, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia where he resided. Jeff graduated from E.L. Bowsher High School where he enjoyed playing football. In his spare time he loved golfing and fishing as well as playing with his dog Layla. Jeff started camping at a young age and embraced being outdoors in nature which included working in his yard. We will miss the gentle side of Jeff who would give a stranger his last dollar. We will certainly miss him but know that God had bigger plans.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Barbara Fyock; dear sister and brother, Deb(Fabian) Espitia; John (Jill) Fyock; along with nephews, Nick (Alisha) Espitia, Josh (Angelina) Espitia, Blake Bansek; and great niece and nephews, Harlow, Mason, Anderson and Harrison. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, John W. Fyock; and grandparents, Henry and Frances Fyock and Stanley and Lucille Kravetsky.

Any contributions will go towards a park bench which is being established in his memory at one of the Toledo Metroparks. An account has been set up in Jeff's memory at Fifth Third Bank. A celebration of life is planned for July 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Capers Restaurant on 2038 S. Byrne Rd in Toledo Ohio.

I have not seen Jeff since high school and sad to hear of his passing. Sending my condolences to his family.
Jeff had a good heart and made everyone around him better. Even though I haven´t seen him since high school he´s one of those people you just never forget. I am glad to have had the opportunity to play football with him. He was one of the most fierce competitors and toughest players I have ever known. It makes me happy to know that he had a soft spot in his heart for animals and a love nature.
I am honored to have known him and to call him my friend.
God rest Jeff´s soul and love to all.
