Jerome Coltrane Obituary
Jerome
Jerome Coltrane, 51, passed away November 28, 2014, at his home. Born in Toledo, he was a machine operator for Chrysler Corporation for 23 years, before his retirement in 2013. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Post #553 as well as UAW Local 14. Jerome was an avid fisherman. As a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church he served faithfully as a cook and on the nurse's guild.
Jerome leaves a loving family, including his wife, Yvette Coltrane; daughters, Jameia and Keenesha Coltrane and son, Jerome Coltrane Jr.; stepchildren, Candace Glaspie, Searia and Willie Mitchell, Aleece Daily, and Byron Coltrane; 11 grandchildren; parents, Ora and Albert Pittman; brothers, Clarence (Blongie) McCoy, Rev. Melvin Coltrane, Kyle McGee, Zetta (George) Ferguson, Kathy Willis, Melanie Barringer, Robin Harris, Aarona Brazzel, Debra Brown and Terri Ann Coltrane and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. with wake services Friday, 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12 noon all at the Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Edward Dotson officiant, interment Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jerome "Sargent" worked for me as Team Leader at the old Jeep plant. He was a great guy. I even have some "old school" CD music he made for me. I was shocked to see this in the Blade. Rest easy Sarge. My sincere condloences to his Family.
