Dear Peggy and Family:
We were so sad to read the news of Jerry's death. Jim was out of town, so could not attend the funeral. We have many fond memories of the 2 years in the EMBA program at USC and especially of the graduation party on the yacht. Jim had been in contact with Jerry quite a few times in the past years and will miss catching up with him about your family.
We are praying that God will bring you comfort and strength and His peace that surpasses all understanding.
Love, Jim and Gwenn Withrow

Keane Family - Jerry made such a difference in the so many different areas of his life. It is going to be weird to not pick up the phone and call him for his vast repository of information, his humor and charity to all!

Dear Keane Family,
My sincerest sympathy in the loss of Jerry. I have especially fond memories of the Keane Family not only were they neighbors but they provided me with transportaion to CCHS for the better part of 3 years. It was a true benefit to me but also provided me with the opportunity to get to know them better. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you.

Dear Keane Family,

I am so saddened by this news. Although I did not know Mr. Keane well, I was friends with Pat in high school and did see first hand the amazing family he raised--just knowing the kids tells me what an amazing man and father he was. We made sure to ONLY visit your store when it came time to buy our crucifix for our new home and our gifts for our girls baptisms. I cannot remember a time that I did not see both Mr. and Mrs. Keane not smiling in that store! That alone is a life lesson for us all. They are a family that people what to emulate and I know much of that is attributed to this great man. You are in my thoughts and daily prayers and you now have a very very special guardian angel watching over you.

Peggy,

I was so sorry to learn about the passing of Jerry. Be strong and keep all your happy memories close to your heart. That will help you through this tough period of your life.

I hope you will still be able to keep your store open. It is the only religious store in the area that I know of. I would miss coming in and seeing all the special items that are there and being able to buy just what I need.

I will try to come to you more often when Santiago de Compostela needs supplies.

I've come to you in the past and you have been able to help me with what I've needed.

Take care and God bless you and your family.

The many miles and years have not kept Jerry from my thoughts. There are times when it seems like only yesterday. I thank him for showing me that even the everyday things in life can be seen as the greatest of moments. One of my fewest regrets is that I did not stay in touch with such a wonderful person and family. We have lost a "one of a kind" person. I wish that my kids and grandkids could have spent one day with him and your family.
