Joan Antoszewski Obituary
Joan M. (Pietrzak) Antoszewski, age 86, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 31, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. She was born the youngest of eight children to Walter and Helen (Langa) Pietrzak on August 7, 1931 in Toledo, OH.
Joan married Edward S. Antoszewski on January 14, 1950 at St. Francis Desales Church in Toledo. She worked many jobs but was best known as a cook whose food made everybody happy. Joan was a long time member of the Lady's Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Central Avenue.
She leaves behind many memories for her three children, Kathleen (George) Sabback, Joe "Anti" Antoszewski, and Lori (Beaver) Powell; her loving grandchildren: Kayleen (Derek) Smith, Dana (Jen) Sabback, Demetra (Danielle) Sabback, Marissa (Eric) Veronica, Eric (Mary) Antoszewski, Brooke (Jimmy) Antoszewski, Zackary (Shelby) Powell and Kaili Powell and nine great grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, and her seven older siblings.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude to her Promedica Hospice nurse, Lisa, care aid, Creadance, social worker, Jennifer and Ebeid Hospice for their attentiveness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's name to hospice. Online condolences may be shared at toledocremation.com

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have many happy, fun memories with Joan. I especially enjoyed playing cards with her. I think now she is in heaven doing some fabulous baking. I'm sure my dad is loving it!
