JoAnn Buehrle Colapietro

JoAnn Buehrle Colapietro, 69, of Rossford, Ohio, died November 18, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born April 7, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to Franklin Thomas and Hattie (Mierzejewski) Buehrle. JoAnn married her love, John Colapietro in 2004 after a 7-year courtship and together they cherished 24 years together.

JoAnn attended Bowling Green State University and University of Toledo. In high school she worked at Nina's Boutique where she developed her individualized style. Gifted artistically she became a draftsman in the U.T. architectural department and worked her way up to becoming graphic art director for Scholz Design. Always organized and punctually correct she missed her calling to be an English teacher. She enjoyed quilting, jewelry making, antiquing, and seeking out unique and interesting coffee and tea shops.

JoAnn is survived by her husband, John Colapietro; siblings, Alice Buehrle (Michael), Tom Buehrle; and niece, Heather Buehrle; stepchildren, Lia Colapietro, Cullen Colapietro (Lindsay), Aislinn Colapietro (Andy); grandchildren, Ewan, Eli, Brynn, Layla, Levi, and Miles; aunt, Virginia (Mierzejewski) Herdter and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, Rossford (419-666-1566) on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM with services at 7:00 PM.
