DEAR DICK, JAN, & TERESA DISHOP ALLREADY SEVEN YEARS HAVE PAST SINCE WONDERFUL JODI HAS GONE TO OUR LORD. SHE IS ALSO WITH HER LOVING BROTHER, TONY, WHO ALSO HAS PAST. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH THEM AND EACH OF YOU DICK, JAN, AND TERESA. GOD HAS HIS PLANS FOR EACH OF USAND WE PUT OUR TRUST IN THE LORD. OUR FOND MEMORIES OF EARLIER TIMES TOGETHER AT YOUR HOME AND ALSO FUN TIMES AT YOUR CABIN AT ROUND LAKE. JODI AND TONY WERE SO VERY SPECIAL AND GENUINE HUMAN BEINGS WHO LIVED THEIR FAITH. WE WERE SO BLESSED TO KNOW THEM ALONG WITH THEIR MOM AND DAD AND SISTER AND PATERNAL GRANDPARENT'S. OUR LOVING WISHES AND PRAYERS ALWAYS. JACK AND ZEE AND KEVIN STAAS, VENICE, FLORIDA. Our hearts ache over her passing and pray that God will provide you each the strength and guidance to cope with her passing to our Savior. What a gem she is / was......her smile and warmth radiated in her presence with others. We recall fond memories of fun and happy times together with her at her parent's cottage at Round Lake. Dear Dick, Jan, Teresa, Tony, and to you..Jodi...and your husband and three sons, and each of your children, parent's, grandparents, children, and your spouses and your families ...we express our deepest sympathy over the passing of Jodi on July 25th, 2016 at the age of only 41 years. we were so saddened and in grief over the passing of Jodi! Our hearts ache for each of you and pray to God that he will provide strength and guidance to you each in coping with Jodi's passing. What a gem she is/was....her smile and warmth radiated in her presence with others. We recall with fond memories the fun and Happy times of her parent's summer cottage at Round Lake and other times together!

Jodi was such a joy to know over the years! I often enjoyed chatting with her at our homeschool meetings, as well as when our families did summer sports co-op together! She will be deeply missed!

We were shocked and deeply saddened to learn about Jodi's passing. As a younger woman, her involvement with the Bobcat Band family was positive, upbeat, and caring -- she was a sheer delight to know! Learning about her life "post- high school" confirmed what we always knew of her: a genuine, effervescent, faith-filled woman, dearly loved daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Jodi will be remembered always. May she be embraced for all time in the warm and loving arms of her Savior. I am so deeply saddened to hear of Jodi's death. I will miss our Lake Elmo times with the kids, but would like to continue our summer tradition and still take the boys. I am so blessed I met her 12 years ago at the Oakdale, Library. She was so sweet to me that day and always! I miss you Jodie so much! I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven.

Words can't express how sorry I am for your loss of Jodi. She was an awesome wife, mother, and beloved teacher. I enjoyed it so much when she came to OSC with your boys. I especially remember the time that she came with them at Halloween and how they passed out the candy. What a wonderful giving spirit shown. Dear Tom, Kaidden, Breck and Macray,
Our hearts are broken - your Mom was such a shining light always so willing to give of herself to others. I sat with her many times in a cold hockey rink where she would not stop smiling while watching the boys skate. Please know that you are not alone and the entire community will be here to hold you up through this. Your Mom will be with you always as well.

Breck and Macray were in my Art class and Kaidden had phy-ed with Kairos and Zoe. I so appreciated Jodi's zest and "can do" attitude....and her deep, deep assurance that she knew where she going and that either way, she would beat this....either in heaven or on earth. She spoke of her family often and of her great love of all of you. Your mom is so proud of you boys and of her beloved husband. Praying for comfort for all of you and that you would love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind.

I am so sorry to hear this. My love and compassion goes out to all of you. Tony and Tom it has been a long time but I feel like it was just yesterday in school and could pick up the conversation we were having. We have the privilege of knowing the O'Connors through the hockey community. Jodi was truly a great person, extraordinary mother and faithful servant of God. Jodi will be greatly missed. She was such a bundle of joy and she spread that joy to everyone she encountered. I was involved in the homeschooling group with her and have so many wonderful memories of my times with her. Her love of Jesus was such an encouragement and I know she is with Him now, so that brings comfort.

I worked with Jodi at Creative Kidstuff and always enjoyed working and talking with her. We shared homeschooling philosophies plus a lot of laughs. She had such a positive energy and was so very kind and helpful. I'm very sad and surprised to hear of her death. My prayers to the family.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Jodi's passing. I was fortunate enough to meet her through Macray attending Augustana Preschool. Jodi was always offering her time and talents to the preschool. She was an extremely kind and loving person. I will miss her very much.
