John Barta Obituary
John J. Barta, 79, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, May 3rd., 2024. John was born and raised in Toledo, by his parents, Gilbert and Elizabeth. John retired from the City of Toledo, Water Department and the TMA. John was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gilbert. He is survived by his wife, Veronica; son, John; and his special little buddy, Gemini; and several cousins. At his request there will be no service.

I worked with John at the Toledo Museum of Art until his retirement in 2013. He was such a character, together with his dry sense of humor, which was appreciated by everyone, he was a joy to work with.
