John Hussar Obituary
John "Bubs" Ronald Hussar, age 75, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Manor of Perrysburg. He was born on March 22, 1942 in Rossford, Ohio to John and Helen Hussar. Ron was a 1961 graduate of Rossford High School and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he went on to work for GM Powertrain as a machine operator for 39 years, retiring in 1999. Ron enjoyed hunting and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He also liked tinkering and fixing things.
Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Diane (Tinney) Hussar; children, Michelle (Jim) Walters, Theresa Hussar and Randy (Melissa) Hussar; grandchildren, Cassandra Shope, Liv Hussar, Nathan Hussar, Ty Hussar, Zoe Hussar, Tiala Barker and Bill Barker; great-grandson, Brendon Carpenter; and brother, Jeff (Pat) Hussar. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Donna Snyder and Jackie South; brother-in-law, Charles South; and nieces, Tracy and Audra South.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 2 to 8 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church. The family will greet visitors in the church narthex beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg.
