Dearest Purdue Family,
We were very saddened to read of the passing of your father, John. We knew that he was in ill health and recently was having difficulties appreciating life to its fullest. We will always remember your father as being kind and considerate, interested in life and others and willing to share heart and soul when asked by many. Fond memories will follow for years to come of his annual Christmas card pictures and thoughtful notes.
Sincere condolences to you all,
Cheryl. Ron and Laurel Volk

Super, and Family:\
I recv'd Super's FaceBook note last night. Therefore, I today checked the Legacy page. Your Father clearly was a very special man. I knew your Mom, through you (Super) more than anyone else in your family. Clearly, you all have wonderful memories. As we all know, cherish every moment. My deepest condolences.

With fondest memories, we remember your father and our good friend. Both he and Sue made us feel like we were part of your family. What wonderful memories we have of concerts, dinners at the Toledo Club and John's wit and humor. It was John who wrote a tribute on behalf of my father, Henry Stoltenberg, when he passed on. We warmly recall having dinner at their home enjoying Sue's famous spaghetti and thier companionship. Once again John and Sue are together.
