My heart goes out to all of you! The entire Thorton family has always held a special place in my heart, especially the kids. We spent so many days together when they were young and they were such a big part of my life. It warms my heart to see that they have grown to be such amazing young adults. After reading the posts and talking with his friends, it puts a smile on my face to know that Jakey kept that outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic personality he always had as a little boy! He always kept me on my toes and that is what I have always loved about him! Ryan, Becca & Gabe, hold tight to the memory of your brother and to one another! Laurie & John, there is no stronger bond to that of a child and parent and I know that your kids have always meant the world to both of you. Jake's life was cut too short , but know that he had an amazing life because of your love and guidance!
You will always be in my thoughts and prayers!
With Love,
Kim (Kaczmarek) Bais

Jake, I loved you with all my heart and was always thrilled to be your father, mentor, and friend. With your cooperation, your mother and I considered you a successfully completed project. You were our gift to humanity. I feel so sad for all your friends who experienced the pleasure of your company for too short of time. You will never be forgotten.
Friends of Jake, feel free to email or call me to share memories of Jake.
