Jose Villarreal Obituary

Jose P. "Joe" Villarreal

Jose P. "Joe" Villarreal, age 72, of Toledo, passed away September 21, 2022 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born July 19, 1950 in Adrian, MI to Jesus and Umbelina Villarreal. Joe graduated from St. John's Jesuit High School. He drove cab for most of his life in cab # 97 for Black and White. Joe loved to go dancing at Tony and Vickie's Nightclub and also enjoyed working on puzzles, Ohio State Football and Detroit Lions.

In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by his wife, Francesca Villarreal; son, Jose Villarreal, Jr.; and brother, Jimmy Villarreal. He is survived by his children, Toni Villarreal, Umbelina (Deanna) Villarreal, Lela Villarreal, Roberta Villarreal, Nikki (Tana) Villarreal and John Villarreal; lifetime companion, Mary Frank; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Villarreal.

The family will receive guests Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in Joe's memory.
