I am not really sure I accept the fact that she is gone. I remember her letting us girls spend the night and teaching us to draw, I of course never caught on, but through it all she loved us. I also remember the dixie cups of M&M's, ONE cup of pop and her country music..... grandma I will miss you and so will the kids. I love you and now your work here is done and you can rest..

Mom, it is October 10 and I still cannot believe you are not here. I miss calling you, I miss seeing you. God allowed me to take care of you one last time before you went home. I thank him for that privilege. I think of all you did without to keep our family together, you loved us kids and protected us like a lioness. I know I gave you grief through my years, I'm sorry- I know I told you before but I wish I could tell it to you again....I love you. I know God will take good care of you and you finally are free from the burdens you had here on earth. What a reunion we will have one day. Looking forward to it. love you, shirley

Mom, I love you and I hope you will forgive me for my impatience, at times. I'm grateful to have had the priviledge of caring for you to the end, for the opportunity to pray with you at night, to kiss you good night and tell you, I love you, before you went to sleep. I will miss you mom, but I know you are hppy being with your mom and dad, Stephen and Grace. You would call out to them at times and I know they were preparing a home for you. I love you mom. We will miss you, especially, Paige and Aidan. I'm glad I have pictures of you with them. I know my children will miss helping you eat, joking with you, teasing you and talking with you about your Italian heritage. God loves you for all you did to keep our family together and you will be blessed. Bye for now
