Joshua Altman Obituary
Joshua James
Joshua James Altman, age 34, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, October 26, 2013. He was born on September 29, 1979, to Mike and Rosie (Weyandt) Altman in Sylvania. Josh graduated from Springfield High School in 1998. He was a NLL and Sectional wrestling champion. Josh loved all sports and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, Michigan Wolverines and the Oakland Raiders. He was a people person and a friend to all. Josh was an amazing father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Brayden, and his mom, Alesha Brueshaber; brothers, Jeff and twin Jason (Jessica); niece, Amelia; paternal grandmother, Beverly Altman, and many other family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Janie Weyandt and Wayne Altman.
The family will receive guests on Friday from 12:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752
Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, with visitation 2 hours prior. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.

Josh was a friend of my sons and I remember him from when he was visiting. My heart breaks for the family. This is such a tragic, senseless loss. "There but for the Grace of God, go I." You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
