JOYCE HOLEMAN Obituary

HOLEMAN JOYCE L. Joyce L. Holeman, age 77, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010, in her residence. She was born March 13, 1933, in Grundy Center, Iowa to Harold and Tena Schoon. Joyce's career was raising her family. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and entertaining. Joyce was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a former volunteer at Ronald McDonald House both in Toledo and Cincinnati. She made friends in whatever she did and was a current member of the "flamingos." Preceded in death by her son, Timothy, she is survived by her husband, Keith; son, Michael (Christina) Holeman; daughter, Kellie (Kevin) Szenderski; daughter-in-law, Jeriel McAndrews; grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob and Samuel; sister, Jeri (Harley) Getting; and brother, Paul (Linda) Schoon. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Thursday from 3-8 PM where services will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr. Suite B, Perrysburg, Ohio or Epworth United Methodist Church, 3077 Valleyview Dr., Toledo, Ohio 43615.
