I am so sorry to hear of Julie `s passing. I have special memories of her bubbly personality and laughter, our Friday end-of the week manhattans, and bags of popcorn she made for me while I was recovering after childbirth in the hospital. She was one of a kind, and will truly be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Julie in college. We had many laughs in the car during our commute to classes at BGSU! She was a wonderful person in everyway! My deepest sympathy to you all!

As a new nurse I met Julie in 1987 as Flower Hospital pediatrics. She was a wonderful mentor, boss and friend. She stood by me through my son´s illness and death. Out paths crossed again at the then Medical College of Ohio where she led the informatics team. We remained friends connected through social media and an occasional phone call but time and distance never changed our friendship. His speed friend. Sandy Hensley
