June Papenfus Obituary

PAPENFUS June Deiners Cady June Deiners Cady Papenfus, age 88, was born June 3, 1920, in Toledo and passed away Monday, May 25, 2009, at Sylvania Care and Rehab in Sylvania, Ohio. June's parents were Arthur and Ella (Paulun) Deiners. She lived in Temperance, Toledo, and Lambertville. She married John Frederick Cady and they had four children. She later married Kenneth Papenfus and they had one daughter. June was employed by Mead Containers and Libbey Glass. She retired in 1982. She loved to read and had a remarkable memory for family history and events. She also loved flowers, especially roses, her birthday flower. June was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, John and Kenneth; her brothers, Calvin and Norman; her daughter, Jerrilyn Cady Bridge; her son, Jan Cady and her grandson, Jeffrey Cady. She is survived by her brother, Phillip (Sue) Deiners of Temperance; her sister, Ardelle (Royden) Ward of Hayward, CA; her son, Tony (Phyllis) Cady of Maumee; her son, Timothy (Janis) Cady of Lambertville; her daughter, Robin (Gary) Zimmerman of Whitehall, Montana; daughter-in-law, Sandra Cady of Toledo and son-in-law, John Bridge of Temperance. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ron (Christine) Cady; Terry Cady; Kelly, Jennifer, Beth, and Amanda Cady; Kim, Steve, and David Bridge; Janel (Doug) Hayes; Deanna Cady, Paul Siminiak, Christine (Mike) Kushmaul, and Anne Marie Rollf. June has twelve great-grand-children of whom she was extremely proud. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Farnham Funeral Home in Temperance with funeral services Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH. In lieu of floral tributes the family requests remembrances to the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
