Juris Kudrasovs Obituary
July 7, 1952 - July 16, 2025
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we mourn the passing of Juris Reginald Kudrasovs, of Mississauga, Ontario, from cancer, on July 16, 2025. Juris will be missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Pamela (Schmidt); children, Chelsey and Justin; son-in-law, Michael Bristow. Juris was predeceased by daughter, Tera. Juris also found great joy in his grandchildren, Ells, Cameryn and Markus.
Juris was born in Brampton, Ontario, on July 7, 1952, to Alexander and Elsa Kudrasovs (predeceased), who immigrated from Riga, Latvia, to settle in Canada. Juris was very proud of his Latvian heritage. He graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a degree in Economics. Juris had a banking career spanning 40 years culminating with the Bank of Nova Scotia.
Juris had a passion for various sports and played professional hockey for the Kitchener Rangers OHA, Toledo Goaldiggers IHL (Turner Cup, 1975) and the Georgetown Raiders OHA Sr. (Hardy Cup, 1982). Juris nurtured many young children and adults through coaching hockey.

Thank you for sharing the unfortunate news of Juris´ passing. I, like thousands of others, had the joy of watching Juris bring the Turner Cup to Toledo. What a great memory it is to remember #10 scoring the game winner to seal the 1974-75 season IHL Championship. Thank you for the memories and may you rest in Heaven. God Bless those that mourn his passing.

Pam and the Kudrasovs Family,
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Juri. I didn't know him well, but I always liked him, and he seemed to be very amiable. Losing our loved ones is very saddening, and you've had your share of that over the last 10 years. Let the memories of the good times; there are many of them for you, I am sure; and let them bring you comfort during this time of deep grief. I will say a prayer for Juri, and you, that God will guide you through this time of sadness.
