K-K-K-Katy, beautiful Katy,
You're the only g-g-g-girl that I adore;
When the m-m-m-moon shines,
Over the cowshed,
I'll be waiting at the k-k-k-kitchen door.

To Katie's Family-
Katie was great young girl. I played with her at my cousin Judy's house, went to parties, and played CYO basketball against her @ Little Fkower & eventually with her at SUA. She was always such fun and a good sport. I kept up w/her over the years through our mothers and I was really proud of the legacy she left behind that I read. I am touched by her passing, but to her family, prove her love to be what it truly was and is today: strong and loyal. Keep praying and God will see you through. Until we meet again, Katie!

She loved & she prayed. Those words fully describe Kate. We had the pleasure of our oldest child and youngest child attending school together. Our hearts are filled with sorrow upon hearing the news about her passing. Our most sincere condolences go out to your loving family.

Kevin and Family:
We were deeply saddened to hear about Katie's passing. We've known you for a long time, and you are a really nice and good person. We never had a chance to meet Katie, but feel as though we knew her from talking to you over the years. Surely she also was a really nice and good person, and lived a great life. You had told us that she struggled with serious health issues the last couple years. Those struggles are now over. We do know that Katie like you was a person of strong faith, and can now rest in peace. She was also a strong family person, which is a great thing. No doubt she'll be badly missed by her family and the people who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

Soo so sorry for your loss! I didn't know Katie very well, she was much younger than myself and also I lived in Chicago since my marriage! I am the oldest grand-daughter of the Schoen family and the third in line of all of the 67 grandchildren of Cliff and Catherine Schoen! I now reside in Grand Rapids , Mi and have been praying for Katie and her family since finding out of her situation! God must have wanted her to be with him and she must now
be reunited with her parents and family that have gone before her! God bless her husband, children and family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Katie's cousin, Catherine Uhl Gorman

It seems almost impossible to put such deep grief on the loss of this wonderful woman into words. The words in her obituary give a glimpse into her life: "She loved." Yes, that is Kate. May that love sustain all who mourn her loss, especially you Kevin, your children, and all in Kate's extended family -- many! Be assured that prayers will surround all of you in the days, months, and years ahead.

Dearest Kevin, beautiful children and family of Kate, If I could sum up Kate's life in one word it could only be LOVE. She exuded love at all times and under any circumstances. Your dear Kate made everyone feel Jesus' love. There is an enormous void here on earth but I'm sure God's plan for her is even greater. May God's loving arms surround and comfort all of you. With so much love and prayers always. Suzie and Brian Miller, Olivia, Christian and Frances.
