Kathryn Pettaway Obituary
Kathryn J. Pettaway, age 95, resident of Ridgewood Manor Nursing Center, Maumee, Ohio, passed away on November 28, 2021. She was born on May 6, 1926, in Toledo, to the late Mose Johnson, Jr. and the late Otha L. Clemons.
Kathryn was a graduate of Jesup W. Scott High in 1944. She attended Toledo University and The Toledo Museum of Art. Kathryn was married to Willie M. Pettaway on September 27, 1947. Children, Ronald G. (Marva), Patsy A. Smith, Kenneth R. (deceased), Kathryn J. Richardson (deceased), Willie M. Jr. (Gail), Michael J.; and her daughter, Sheri L. Johnson (Kenney); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at The House of Day Funeral Service, 2540 Nebraska Avenue. Friday, December 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
