I am deeply sorry to learn of Kathy's passing. While I have not seen her in awhile, I have many fond memories of her as I was growing up. My mom and Kathy would often chat at the back fence, catching up on all the news. I lost my mom 3 years ago and understand how difficult it is. My thoughts are with all of you.

As we sat in the waiting area on Wednesday January 30 at Case Western Medical Center and shared stories that helped each of our families through this difficult time, I couldn't help but think of what a wonderful family you are. I'm so sorry for your loss! Wow, she was such a wonderful lady. She was the janitor at my high school, but more than just that....she was a friendly face in the hallway, a joker, someone nice to talk to, a friend to all of us. I remember everyday before journalism I would see her in the girls bathroom cleaning and we would always talk for quite some time. She was always willing to help someone in need. She will be missed!

Doug and family,
Clay High School will not be the same without Kathy's dirty jokes and funny nick names for everyone. She was possibly one of the funniest people I've known. And who can forget the cell phone with a million billion pictures of grand kids to show off.
