I lived next door to Rusty. Even though he was 3 yrs older than me we grew up together and practically lived at each others homes. I looked to him as a big brother. We did almost everything from playing baseball, pickup football, slot car racing, riding bikes, we were together almost everyday doing something. As we grew older he would hook me into helping with projects he would do around his mothers house...some were good projects and some were not...LOL I was in his wedding when he and Margie got married and we stayed friends for many years. Eventually we lost track of each other and it is with great sadness for me that we did not connect again before his passing. To Margie you have all my prayers and condolences for your loss. I have thought about Rusty a lot over the years. I know he is in a better place and that we will meet again in that place and have some good laughs again. May you rest in peace my old friend.

Rus was a great friend and co-worker for over 50 years. He was always there if you needed help. He was highly skilled at trouble-shooting and repairing complex aircraft avionics equipment, often sharing his knowledge with other technicians. He will be sadly missed. I offer my prayers and sincere sympathy to Margie and his children.
