Kimerlyn Santus Obituary

Kimerlyn Sue Santus (Stanz)

May 24, 1955 - January 9, 2024

In loving memory of Kimerlyn Sue (Stanz) Santus, a loving and dedicated soul who served happiness and hospitality throughout her lifelong career in the service industry. Her strong work ethic and exceptional customer service left an indelible mark on her employers, coworkers and customers. Kim rarely walked into a room without someone commenting on her jet black hair and bright blue eyes... she was often likened to Elizabeth Taylor. Kim passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones. May her hardworking nature and penchant for customer service continue to inspire us all.

Kim is survived by her soulmate of 40 years, Ken Reisner and her four children, Daniel Fry, Jeremy, Tracie and Michelle Santus. She is also survived by siblings Bev Hernandez (Vic), Linda Veasey (Charles), Mickey Ryan (Suzan), Jimmy Ryan and Kellie Goulet (John) along with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Kim is preceded in death by her mother Patricia (Rankin) and stepfather Edward Ryan, her father Richard Stanz, siblings Pat Ryan, Timmy Ryan, Ricky Stanz, and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held at the Toledo Sailing Club on January 20, 2024, from Noon-4 p.m. with a brief eulogy at 1p.m. A meal will be provided for those attending around 1:30 p.m.
