Kristine Goldstein Obituary

Kristine Marie Goldstein

Kristine Marie Goldstein, 63, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on April 13, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved Mother, Grammy, Daughter, Sister, Spouse, Aunt, Great Aunt, and friend. Kris was born on May 13, 1957. She was the 5th of 13 children born to Bernadine and Raymond Gargac of Curtice, Ohio. A 1975 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School, then went on to beauty school and was a stylist for over 40 years. She ended her career at The New Ultimate Impressions where she had lifelong friends and many loyal customers. Kris loved to spend time working out at Super Fitness, cheering on the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and spending countless hours working for the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye organizations. Many of her regulars will surely miss her. She was overjoyed when she became a Grammy for the first-time last April and absolutely adored her twin granddaughters. She spent every moment she could with them and was great at making them laugh.

Kris was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Gargac; mother-in-law, June Goldstein; brothers-in-law, Rick Huff and Rick Royce; and nephew, Michael Ayash.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Ashley Goldstein–Mahoney; precious granddaughters, Caitlyn Martin and Ryleigh June; mother, Bernadine Gargac; spouse, Lou Goldstein; siblings, Kathy Royce, Karen (Raul) Sanchez, Mike (Joyce) Gargac, Karol (Rick) Phillips, Konnie Burke, Kim (Pat) Sheehan, Kerry (Mike) Manders, Karlene (Tony) Reaser, Marty (Mona) Gargac, Matt (Jill) Gargac, Mitch (Monica) Gargac, Kelly (Joe) Aldrich; sister-in-law, Lois Ayash; and numerous nieces and nephews.

So sorry Gargac family to hear of your loss. Kris was a sweet girl and part of a special family. I have many memories of happy times with the Gargac crew and Wilson family get -togethers. God bless you with peace and comfort.
