Larry "Doug"
Larry "Doug" McClain, age 40, of Toledo, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, after a 7 month battle with Multiple Myeloma, with his mother by his side.
He was born in Findlay, Ohio to Edna (McClain) Rodriquez and Larry McClain on November 2, 1973. Larry was an auto
mechanic for the last 8 years, at McKown's Auto Service, where he worked up to the day of his first surgery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark and Annabelle Donaldson, Kent and Eloise McClain and Max and Carmen Rodriquez. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Edna and Max Rodriquez, Toledo; father, Larry McClain, Lima, OH; sisters, Shelly (Jim) Bowling, Findlay, OH, Christina (Chris) Sortman, Toledo, and Amber (Ben) Campbell, Rockhills, SC; sons, Michael McClain and Larry I. McClain; longtime girlfriend, Amber Brock and many nieces and nephews who he greatly adored.
The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski
Funeral Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Ohio (near Laskey) on Monday, September 8, 2014, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Knollcrest Cemetery Arcadia, Ohio. Online condolences can be shared at

The family would like to thank Bay Park Hospital acute care nurses and Perrysburg Hospice for all your love and support you gave to Larry and his family the last 2 weeks.

i miss you doug or as i called you big larry you were my bestfriend because you were always there for me when no one else was i loved having you as a neighbor for 4 years we had a lot of laughs and good times. you will be forever in my heart and forever missed.
