Larry Smith

Larry Smith, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on December 10, 1937, in Tennessee, to George and Emma Smith. As a young man, Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, stationed in San Antonio, Texas.

Following his military service, Larry dedicated 38 years of hard work and loyalty to Chrysler, where he built a long and respectful career where he retired from.

Above all, Larry was a devoted father, whose presence brought strength, wisdom, and love to those around him. His family was his greatest joy.

Preceded in death by wife, Shirley Mae Williams-Smith.

Larry is lovingly survived by his daughters, Markeeta, Darla, and Lori, (Roy); and his son, Lawrence (Michelle). He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who loved and adored him.

In addition, Larry is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will remember him for his steady spirit, and the love he shared.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
